Compact and high-performance solution for sump drain management. This filter combines mechanical filtration, noise reduction, and the possibility of inserting biomedia for denitrification, improving the overall efficiency of the system.

Mechanical filtration:

Water from the tank passes through a rectangle of perlon wool (~1 cm) that retains debris and suspended particles before exiting from below or from the top overflow.
The wool is easily replaceable; initially, changes will be more frequent, then they will stabilize over time, about 1-2 weeks.

Noise material:

The internal geometry and the upper grids promote air ascent, limiting gurgling and splashing typical of drain pipes.

Biomedia ready:

In the lower part, it is possible to insert one of the Reeftek biomedia supports for nitrification / denitrification.
The combination of mechanical and biological filtration makes the system more efficient, improving water stability and nitrate management in the long term.
